The Supervisor provides direct oversight of grounds and landscaping personnel engaged in a full range of activities, including the planting, cultivation, fertilization, and maintenance of lawns, flowers, trees, shrubs, and other landscaped areas. The position is also responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and directing landscape and horticultural programs; reviewing project plans and designs; and inspecting completed work to ensure adherence to applicable specifications and standards. In collaboration with the Manager of Custodial and Grounds, the Supervisor assists with the preparation of the unit’s operating budget and the development of project timelines.

Acting as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor, the position ensures that auxiliary operations align with state side expectations while respecting the distinct missions and operational models of each auxiliary organization.
The Executive Director also provides leadership in the development, coordination, and execution of Business and Finance’s strategic priorities. This role leads high impact projects, drives cross functional collaboration, and ensures that strategic initiatives are aligned with the university’s fiscal goals, the Business and Finance division operations, and university mission; coordinating stakeholders, monitoring progress, addressing risks, and ensuring that strategic efforts are implemented effectively and deliver measurable outcomes. |
