Performance is evaluated based on the quality and outcomes of assigned work and contributions to departmental operations. Upon successful completion of training, the incumbent is expected to perform the full range of duties at the Student Services Professional I, Range B level. SSP II Summary: Under the general supervision of the Senior Coordinator and Senior Director of Recreational Sports, the Intramural Sports Coordinator administers and coordinates collegiate intramural sports, esports/gaming, and youth recreation programs, including summer camps. Responsibilities include assessing and enhancing program offerings; coordinating leagues, tournaments, special events, and gaming initiatives; ensuring compliance with university policies, laws, and executive memoranda; monitoring budgets and student staff; contributing to departmental strategic planning; and representing Recreational Sports on committees and task forces. The position regularly manages complex and sensitive situations involving college students and youth participants. Evening hours are routine, with occasional early morning and weekend work required to support program operations.
