The role involves overseeing AV setups, supervising event configurations, troubleshooting equipment issues, and providing exceptional customer service at both the San Bernardino and Palm Desert campuses. This position requires hands-on technical expertise, leadership in supervising student assistants, and effective communication with clients to ensure successful event execution. Frequent on-site and remote late night and weekend hours required.

Under the general direction of the Isabel Patterson Child Development Center Director (IPCDC), the IPCDC Cook is responsible for the full range of duties associated with the implementation of a daily nutrition program for approximately 170 preschool and school age children and 25 adult caregivers who sit with children during mealtimes. This includes meal and menu planning for breakfast, lunch, snack foods, food supply shopping, ordering, receiving, inventory, food preparation, cooking and dispensing; clean up, maintenance and organization of equipment; utensils, and work storage areas. Additional planning and preparation is required for children with special dietary needs and/or restrictions. Incumbents are responsible for adhering to the requirements of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) including record keeping and compliance with all licensing and public health regulations and the IPCDC meal and children’s program policies and procedures including guidelines for interacting with children. The incumbent provides services that are equitable, inclusive and provide culturally sensitive services that enhance the quality of campus life. Reporting to the Dean of the CSUSB Libraries, the Student Success Librarian will coordinate library outreach and instruction efforts for first- and second-year students and transfer students. Working closely with the Outreach Librarian and Instruction Librarian, this person will promote library services, programs, and collections through external partnerships, program development, workshops, and targeted support. The Student Success Librarian will remain current with developments and trends in teaching, research, and learning that impact CSUSB students, such as AI tools, and will be proactive in incorporating such developments in instructional and programmatic library offerings. The successful candidate will be expected to meet retention, promotion, and tenure standards for tenure-track library faculty in three areas: (1) professional assignments; (2) research, scholarly, or creative contributions; and (3) university and/or community service. The library provides support for and fosters intellectual endeavors.
