Under the general supervision of a Physician and direction of the Executive Director, the Nurse Practitioner provides a wide range of primary health care services within the Student Health Center (SHC) including assessment, diagnostic, and preventive and health maintenance services at the Palm Desert Campus. The incumbent works under the supervision of a physician using established standardized procedures and/or process protocols. The Nurse Practitioner collaborates with the SHC Executive Director and their supervising Physician(s) to develop standardized procedures and/or process protocols and scope of practice for their position. The incumbent provides a wide range of primary health care services, such as conducting physical examinations; diagnosing, treating, and managing illnesses and injuries; ordering tests and interpreting the results; and counseling patients on preventive care. Under the direction of the Associate Director, Custodial Services, the custodian will provide various custodian and housekeeping support services for on and off Housing, Residential Life & Auxiliaries (HRLAs) complexes. The incumbent will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of assigned building, floors, facilities, foyers, stairwells, including but not limited to cleaning student rooms, common areas, lounges, kitchens and hallways; clean and disinfect bathrooms; strip and wax floors; clean windows; move furniture from one area to another; wash concrete areas outside of the buildings, execute the delivery and pickup of guest-requested items to and from guest rooms, maintain carts and manage constant supply of clean linens for Summer Conference programs, ensuring closets are fully stocked and remove trash and dirty linens including cleaning and care of flooring (e.g. carpet, tile, etc.) high dusting, edging, scrubbing, cleaning of desks, and perform other related duties as required.
Corporal- (Corporal, Range 1) - University Police Department	San Francisco
Under general direction, the Corporal performs a variety of general law enforcement duties. Work assignments typically require the incumbent to exercise independent judgment and action. Incumbents typically perform general law enforcement work that includes some or all of the following: patrolling campus buildings and grounds on foot or vehicle; maintaining order; enforcing laws, rules and regulations; apprehending and processing violators; initiating police action; preparing and presenting oral and written reports; providing assistance to campus personnel, students and the public in public safety matters; and serving as the lead or senior member on a campus patrol operation. The Corporal rank is distinguished from the Police Officer by the regular, ongoing assignments of one or more of the following: assignment as a team leader, assistant watch commander or patrol agent responsible for leading a shift and providing direction to officers in the field. The Corporal performs special assignments on a regular, ongoing basis including, but not limited to: Field Training Officer (FTO), investigator/detective, crime prevention specialist, and/or community relations specialist.
