| The Department of Public Administration is seeking to hire part-time instructors to teach within our NASPAA-accredited MPA program and our newly created Bachelor of Arts in Public Service. All courses are taught online, using the Canvas and Zoom platforms. The MPA program offers seven core courses (History and Theory; Research Methods; Budgeting; Human Resources, Public Management; Policy Analysis; and Strategic Planning) and 5 concentration courses. The department offers concentrations in Leadership, Public Financial Management, Non-Profit Management, HUman Resource Management, and Community Planning and Management. 5 concentration courses. The Department Chair provides collaborative, equity-centered leadership within a shared governance environment and is responsible for advancing academic excellence, accreditation compliance, faculty development, student success, strategic planning, enrollment management, resource stewardship, and community engagement. | The Department of History at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) invites applications for the Adina Lee Savin and W Benson Harer Visiting Scholar in Egyptology. A successful candidate will be a member of the CSUSB community for one semester, either Fall 2027 (mid Aug- mid Dec) or Spring 2028 (mid Jan – late May). This position is designed for scholars taking a semester sabbatical from a home institution or as a postdoc for an up-and-coming scholar. The applicant should specialize in Ancient Egyptian History, Archaeology, Religion, Society, or Art anytime between the Predynastic to the Roman Periods. The successful candidate will receive housing, a partial meal plan, $2,500 towards relocation expenses, and a $27,000 stipend.
CSUSB hosts the Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art (RAFFMA), which includes an important collection of approximately 500 artifacts dating from the Predynastic Period to the Coptic Period.
