The Director has direct oversight of business analysts and software developers in the implementation of institutional wide platforms and integration of all third-party applications with PeopleSoft Student Information System. This position will also contribute to the oversight of campuswide and CSU-wide data architecture maintenance and systems integration, and aid in developing plans for future upgrades, enhancements, expansions, and sustainable operations in alignment with the institution’s growing data needs.

The Department of Public Administration is seeking to hire part-time instructors to teach within our NASPAA-accredited MPA program and our newly created Bachelor of Arts in Public Service. Accounting Technician (Accounting Technician II), FAS San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Provides frontline student account support and cashiering services by delivering excellent customer service and assisting students, faculty, and staff with routine inquiries and payments in person and through approved virtual platforms, while maintaining strict confidentiality in accordance with University policies and FERPA. Independently processes, records, and accurately posts cashiering transactions to student accounts and the general ledger, ensuring compliance with CSU policies, internal controls, and established accounting practices. Compiles and generates routine financial reports, maintains tracking tools and audit-ready records, and resolves discrepancies to support accurate financial operations. Communicates and helps disseminate established university policies and procedures, supports orientations and related events, and performs other duties as assigned to support departmental operations.

Project Technologist/Office of Academic Research (UEC) San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Under the direction of the Chief Research Officer, the Project Technologist provides specialized, high-level technical leadership to the Office of Academic Research (OAR) by architecting and operationalizing information systems that modernize and automate sponsored research administration. The incumbent serves as OAR’s primary technologist for analytics and AI initiatives, translating complex, multi-step pre-award and post-award business rules (grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements) into secure, scalable, datadriven solutions that reduce administrative burden and improve compliance. Core responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining enterprisegrade Power BI research and funding dashboards for executive decision support; developing AI/agentic applications and chatbots that guide faculty and staff through funding discovery, policy interpretation, and reporting; and integrating data across campus and OAR platforms to create a single, governed source of truth for the Chief Research Officer. This work is missioncritical to OAR’s ability to grow research activity and is performed on campus in close collaboration with leadership and administrative units. The position requires advanced knowledge of information systems, business intelligence, and applied AI — and the ability to align technology with university research strategies.

The Department Chair provides collaborative, equity-centered leadership within a shared governance environment and is responsible for advancing academic excellence, accreditation compliance, faculty development, student success, strategic planning, enrollment management, resource stewardship, and community engagement. The Chair reports to the Dean of the WCOE College and works closely with program coordinators, faculty, staff, district partners, university leadership, and University Advancement.
