Under the general supervision of the AVP for Student Affairs/Dean of Students, the Director of Basic Needs & Student Support will direct, manage, and lead the university’s Basic Needs & Student Support department, as well as serve as the California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) primary campus contact for all basic needs’ functions for CSUSB students for internal and external stakeholders.

Performance is measured by financial goals, donor engagement, and overall fundraising impact. Reporting to the Associate VP of Philanthropic Giving, the Director collaborates across campus to drive initiatives aligned with the university’s mission and vision.
Per Diem Nurse Practitioner (Per Diem, Non-Exempt), Student Health Center - Temporary - Palm Desert Campus San Bernardino - Palm Desert Campus
Under the general supervision of a Physician and direction of the Executive Director, the Nurse Practitioner provides a wide range of primary health care services within the Student Health Center (SHC) including assessment, diagnostic, and preventive and health maintenance services at the Palm Desert Campus. The incumbent works under the supervision of a physician using established standardized procedures and/or process protocols. The Nurse Practitioner collaborates with the SHC Executive Director and their supervising Physician(s) to develop standardized procedures and/or process protocols and scope of practice for their position. The incumbent provides a wide range of primary health care services, such as conducting physical examinations; diagnosing, treating, and managing illnesses and injuries; ordering tests and interpreting the results; and counseling patients on preventive care. This position is primarily located at the Palm Desert campus and may work occasionally on the San Bernardino campus.

As lead for HR Front Desk and Lobby operations, the position provides work direction to front-line staff, resolves complex inquiries, and implements process improvements using advanced knowledge of HR policies, best practices, and applicable laws. The incumbent independently manages multiple priorities and oversees key programs, including Volunteer Services, New Employee Orientation and Onboarding, and Offboarding/Separation, ensuring efficient, compliant, and service-oriented HR operations.
Classification & Compensation Analyst (Confidential Administrative Support II), Human Resources Division San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Under general direction, the Analyst provides high-level administrative, confidential, and technical support for Classification & Compensation Services. Responsibilities include conducting classification reviews of non-MPP and MPP positions, performing compensation market studies, participating in benchmark surveys, and supporting CSU Meet and Confer sessions and salary negotiations. The Analyst interprets and applies Collective Bargaining Agreements, CSU Classification Standards, and technical letters; reviews Independent Contractor requests in coordination with Procurement; supports grievance processes by gathering information, preparing correspondence, and coordinating with HR Employee & Labor Relations; and participates in classification studies conducted by the Chancellor's Office.

ASUA helps students establish and maintain a sense of belonging with the university through academic support services and programs. ASUA specialized student-support programs include Academic Advising, Coyotes Achieve, Peer Advising, Early Assessment Program (EAP), Student Mentoring Program (SMP), Coyote Experience, Yotie Oso, and the Student Success Studio (S3) at PDC, Academic Support programs include Tutoring, Supplemental Instruction (SI), Academic Testing, and the CSUSB Writing Centers (for graduate and undergraduates). Department of Art & Design (Studio Art & Design) Part-time Lecturer Pool San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The Department of Art & Design, as part of the College of Arts & Letters at CSUSB, offers bachelor's degrees in art history, design, studio art, and art education, plus a graduate program offering an MA in Art and an MFA in Studio Art. The department serves approximately 500-600 students in its majors per year, plus other students from across the campus. The core approach taken to teaching across all the areas of the department focuses on visual and material literacy, as well as critical and discursive analysis of art, design, and other cultural productions. Students that we serve gain a broad base of skills in the areas of art and design making, as well as research, critical thinking, problem-solving, and writing. Through our programs, we strongly encourage an open approach to understanding how all aspects of art, design, and cultural production contribute to imperatives of diversity and community engagement. Program Coordinator (Student Services Professional II), Office of Black Student Success San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Under the Division of Student Affairs, and general supervision from the Director of the Office of Black Student Success (OBSS), the Program Coordinator identifies and mentors students on routine matters using the African American (AA) Data Dashboard, Educational Advisory Board (EAB), and other methods of bringing students in for services when needed. The Program Coordinator supports OBSS in moderately complex professional student service work by utilizing knowledge and judgement of principles, techniques, standards, guides, and professional skills to advise students. Services are provided through student peer mentorship programs, leadership training, retention activities, educational curriculum presentations, direct student advising/counseling, and other services to promote student success. Additionally, the Program Coordinator will help assist current CSUSB students in their quest for financial literacy and work with established partners to support student needs.
