The Department of Art & Design, as part of the College of Arts & Letters at CSUSB, offers bachelor's degrees in art history, design, studio art, and art education, plus a graduate program offering an MA in Art and an MFA in Studio Art. The department serves approximately 500-600 students in its majors per year, plus other students from across the campus. The core approach taken to teaching across all the areas of the department focuses on visual and material literacy, as well as critical and discursive analysis of art, design, and other cultural productions. Students that we serve gain a broad base of skills in the areas of art and design making, as well as research, critical thinking, problem-solving, and writing. Through our programs, we strongly encourage an open approach to understanding how all aspects of art, design, and cultural production contribute to imperatives of diversity and community engagement. UEC is a private, non-profit organization whose purpose is to support CSUSB's educational mission by providing quality services that complement the instructional program and is located on the CSUSB campus. UEC is responsible for business enterprises on campus. UEC also serves as the grantee for federal, state and local funding for research and sponsored projects. Under the general supervision of the UEC HR and PR Manager, the incumbent will perform a full range of varied, complex and technical work assignments involving the use of judgment and discretion in support of the University Enterprises Corporation "UEC" Payroll Department_. UEC Payroll processes semi-monthly payroll for all auxiliary organizations (UEC, Student Union, ASI, Foundation) on the CSUSB campus for approximately 700-800 paychecks per period.

Sergeant, University Police San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Under the direction of a commanding officer, the Sergeant is assigned primary responsibility as a working, first line supervisor, in addition to general law enforcement and specialized work assignments performed by Police Officers and Corporals. Work assignments require the use of independent judgment and the ability to provide leadership to others. The Sergeant rank is distinguished from the Corporal by the full-time assignment of supervisory duties, including making work assignments, monitoring and reporting work activities, and providing on the job training and assistance to subordinates.

Associate Vice President (Administrator III) - Student Affairs and Dean of Students San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Reporting to the Vice President for Student Affairs, the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students (AVPDOS) is a member of the Division of Student Affairs Leadership Team and a larger leadership team that includes student affairs directors and the university’s administrative council. The AVPDOS serves as second-in-charge of the division and has direct administrative responsibility for the following areas: Associated Students Incorporated, Basic Needs & Student Support, Children’s Center, Student Conduct and Ethical Development, Santos Manuel Student Union, Student Recreation and Wellness Center, Department of Housing and Residential Education, Office of Student Leadership & Engagement, and the CARE team. In coordination with the Associate Dean of Students, the AVPDOS oversees the establishment and training of hearing panels, assures the adjudication of student code of conduct violations, and coordinates the Division of Student Affairs response to student emergencies. In addition, the AVPDOS advises the Vice President on matters pertaining to student engagement and success; develops, implements, and assesses programs, services, and initiatives that enhance the overall student experience on campus; and serves as an advisor to Associated Students Incorporated.

Department of Anthropology Part-time Lecturer Pool San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The Department of Anthropology seeks applicants for its part-time lecturer pool. We are seeking experienced, well-organized, and student-centered individuals to teach in the following subject areas: sociocultural anthropology, biological anthropology and/or archaeology. Candidates must have at least a Master’s degree in a field relevant to the curriculum of the Department of Anthropology. Preference will be given to candidates who have prior teaching experience at the college or university level and who can furnish evidence of strong teaching. A Ph.D. is desirable for teaching upper-division courses (3000, 4000 or 5000-level) and required for 6000-level graduate courses. Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students. Preference will be given to those with experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment. This is a pool of part-time lecturers for the department to draw on as necessary and all appointments are temporary. Staffing decisions are made on a rolling basis typically beginning a few months prior to the start of an academic term right up to the beginning of the academic term. We recommend submitting your application at least 4 months before the beginning of an academic term to be considered for available positions.
Job Developer/CSRI Victorville (UEC) San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Under the general supervision of the Center Manager, the Job Developer will assist with job development programming, employment placement, and employment retention services for program participants. The incumbent will conduct active job searches and placement opportunities for parolees by contacting and visiting local employers and human resources departments to obtain individual interviews, as well as developing on-the-job training opportunities and vocational education. This position requires group and one-on-one training in job development.

W. Benson Harer Egyptology Scholar in Residence, History Department Visiting Faculty San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The Department of History at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) invites applications for the W. Benson Harer Egyptology Scholar in Residence. A successful candidate will be a member of the CSUSB community for one semester, either Fall 2025 (mid Aug- mid Dec) or Spring 2026 (mid Jan – late May). This position is designed for scholars taking a semester sabbatical from a home institution or as a postdoc for an up incoming scholar. The applicant should specialize in Ancient Egyptian History, Archaeology, Religion, Society, or Art anytime between the Predynastic to the Roman Periods. The successful candidate will receive housing, a partial meal plan, $2,500 towards relocation expenses, and a $26,000 stipend. CSUSB hosts the Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art (RAFFMA), which includes an important collection of approximately 500 artifacts dating from the Predynastic Period to the Coptic Period.
