Information Technology Consultant (ITC - Foundation), Technology Support Center San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Under direct supervision of the Assistant Director of the Technology Support Center, the incumbent will provide consultative support and services to the user community to ensure problem resolution, system/data access, and optimal system performance. The incumbent will assist campus end-users, including faculty, students, and staff, with Tier 1 telephone and email technical support as well as Tier 2 desktop and application support.
PAWS Unit Lead (Administrative Support Coordinator I), Registrars Office San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
This position serves as the lead for the PAWS Unit, which is responsible for: 1) processing and maintaining over 18,000 annual college transcripts submitted by transfer students; 2) building transcript templates for the OCR process; 3) ensuring that student transcripts are entered into uAchieve for output on the PAWS (degree audit); and 4) scanning and indexing student records/documents into each student’s OnBase folder. This position maintains spreadsheets/reports that facilitate the workflow for the timely production of students’ PAWS and writes the business process guides for the unit.

The First-Year Experience Coordinator is responsible for the overall implementation and coordination of first year experience programming. Directly reporting to the Director, Orientation and Transition Programs, this position will coordinate, manage, and implement programs, initiatives, and experiences that facilitate successful new student transitions and integration into the college campus environment. The First Year Experience Coordinator will utilize student development theory, transition theory, and program evaluations to facilitate efforts across the university to increase retention and student success rates of all first-time / first-year students. Specialized efforts will focus on first-generation students and the particular needs of this population. The incumbent will assist with the coordination and implementation of programs and activities offered through Orientation and First Year Experience; assist with the coordination of all first-year experience, orientation, transition, and retention programs; create and present developmental programs for students; assist in the development of other office initiatives; and collaborate with a variety of faculty and staff across the university to ensure a seamless transition for new students. The incumbent will be a contributing member of the Orientation and First Year Experience team and will serve as a valuable team member and resource within the Division of Academic Affairs.
