Under supervision of the Director for Facilities Operations, the Laborer primarily performs general unskilled manual labor. Physician - Primary Care Non-Exempt (Hourly)	East Bay
The Physician is a non-exempt, hourly, non-benefitted member of Student Health & Counseling Services (SHCS) and plays an integral role in supporting the department’s daily operations and clinical services. Primary responsibilities include providing medical diagnosis and treatment, supporting the operational needs of SHCS, and participating in practitioner peer review, staff education, and administrative meetings as needed. The Physician also contributes to SHCS’s ongoing efforts related to re-accreditation, HIPAA compliance, health education, and teaching activities. Serving as a student-facing member of the Division of Student Affairs, the work of the Area Coordinator (AC) is structured to support the Mission, Vision, Values and Strategic Priorities of the university. Employed by the Department of University Housing and Residence Life (UHRL), the AC is a full-time, 12-month live-in professional staff member. Area Coordinator (SSP II)	East Bay
Serving as a student-facing member of the Division of Student Affairs, the work of the Area Coordinator (AC) is structured to support the Mission, Vision, Values and Strategic Priorities of the university. Employed by the Department of University Housing and Residence Life (UHRL), the AC is a full-time, 12-month live-in professional staff member. The AC is supervised by the Associate Director of Residence Life but also receives director and support from the Assistant Director or Residence Life. AC's at Cal State East Bay are expected to initiate "high-touch" front-line interaction with students as they develop formal and informal relationships. They are expected to build communities that focus on student learning and development, support student needs, and inclusivity for all students. AC's provide direct oversight for their designated residential area and supervise a student staff team. This position does not conform to a standard 9-5 work day and requires the individual to work evenings and weekends to best meet the needs of the community. The AC is responsible for the following areas in their specific residential community: case management centering around student support, crisis management, student conduct, supervision and leadership, curriculum implementation and supporting student success. In addition, the AC assists in the overall development and implementation of University Housing and Residence Life programs and services. The duties of the AC may vary from area to area depending on a number of factors (skill set of the AC, number of supervisees, level of autonomy of residents, size/condition of buildings, nature of floor communities, etc.) but the following covers the general expectations of the position.
Civil Rights Intake and Support Specialist (Confidential Office Support II)	East Bay

Transition Success Counselor, Guardian Scholars Program	San José
Under the general supervision of the Director of the Guardian Scholars Program, the Transition Success Counselor is responsible for providing non-clinical, academic and personal guidance to students who identify as current or former foster youth, wards of the court, youth under legal guardianship and unaccompanied homeless youth as determined by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. The incumbent will: conduct one-on-one and group meetings; submit referrals to campus and community resources based on student needs by working with county representatives; and provide workshops for the Guardian Scholar student population. The Transition Success Counselor will work collaboratively with internal and external partners and stakeholders to create opportunities that support the retention, persistence and overall success of Guardian Scholars students. Traditionally, the Transition Success Counselor will also act as a liaison between the Guardian Scholars Program and government organizations and remain informed of all legislation impacting foster youth at the child welfare level.
