Math Instructor Lead/Coyote PRIME (UEC) San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The Coyote PRIME Math Instructor Lead provides engaging, adaptive, skill-building math instruction and consultation for Coyote PRIME to support high school students who are on track with A-G requirements but need additional support to meet gradelevel and college-readiness benchmarks. This role uses EdReady to identify learning gaps, personalize instruction materials, monitor student progress, and provide smallgroup or one-on-one support guidance along with the Coyote PRIME Math Tutor. The Math Instructor Lead collaborates with program staff, supports the Math Tutor, and helps maintain a safe, respectful, and student-centered learning environment.

Candidates must be qualified to teach NASPAA and AACSB accredited courses in both upper division undergraduate and Master’s level public administration. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching (online and face to face) and practitioner experience. Full Time Lecturers focus on teaching. The teaching load for a Full Time Lecturer begins at a 5/5 load, but may be reduced through academic qualifications and other duties, including online and large class courses. Teaching responsibilities may include courses at either the San Bernardino or Palm Desert Campuses. Qualified candidates must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring a diverse student population and to working effectively with faculty, staff and students across a wide range of disciplines.

Under the work direction of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses or other similar licensed professionals and general direction of the Executive Director, the incumbent performs various clinical and medical support functions. Under immediate supervision, this position serves as a Graduate Student Assistant on the Technology Infrastructure for Data Exploration (TIDE) project (https://tide.sdsu.edu/), a multi-campus initiative funded by the National Science Foundation to create the first computational core facility focused on supporting faculty research within the California State University (CSU) system. Designed to advance machine learning and AI research, TIDE features a high-performance computing architecture built on GPUs, powerful processors, and ample storage. The Graduate Assistant will support facilitation and outreach efforts, which may include conducting HPC and AI research (e.g., reading papers, testing models, and building tools), maintaining websites and documentation, responding to support requests, and enabling use of TIDE by developing software containers, data workflow scripts, and CI/CD pipelines.

The Peer Learning Programs (Supplemental Instruction and Embedded Tutoring) within Academic Success and Undergraduate Advising (ASUA) are seeking Instructional Student Assistants (ISAs) to serve as Peer Learning Facilitators in support of historically challenging courses at CSUSB. Peer Learning Facilitators are assigned to one of three roles—SI Leader, Embedded Tutor, or Embedded SI Leader—based on the support modality aligned with the assigned course and section.
