Prospect Research Specialist (Administrative Analyst Exempt I ) - Advancement Services San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The Prospect Research Specialist identifies and performs the full range of work related to program and policy research, analysis, development, evaluation of information on prospective donors to CSUSB. The research specialist provides research support to key leadership at the University and within the Foundation, as well as to the Office of Philanthropic Giving to inform development strategies and advance potential donor relationships. As part of a collaborative team, the Prospect Research Specialist will coordinate with Philanthropic Giving and Advancement Operations staff to ensure that the best prospects are identified and assigned to giving officers and that the history of relationship-building efforts is tracked and plays a critical role in the overall success of the growing University Advancement program.
Police Captain (Administrator II) - University Police Department San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Under the general supervision of the Chief of Police, the Captain is responsible for the direct and indirect supervision of all personnel assigned to the Operations Division to include policy formation and execution. The incumbent is responsible for the protection of life and property and the enforcement of all pertinent laws within the jurisdiction of the California State University San Bernardino Police Department. The incumbent acts as an assistant to the Chief of Police and may act as the temporary head of the Department in the absence of the Chief of Police.
Associate Vice President (Administrator III) - Student Affairs and Dean of Students San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Reporting to the Vice President for Student Affairs, the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students (AVPDOS) is a member of the Division of Student Affairs Leadership Team and a larger leadership team that includes student affairs directors and the university’s administrative council. The AVPDOS serves as second-in-charge of the division and has direct administrative responsibility for the following areas: Associated Students Incorporated, Basic Needs & Student Support, Children’s Center, Student Conduct and Ethical Development, Santos Manuel Student Union, Student Recreation and Wellness Center, Department of Housing and Residential Education, Office of Student Leadership & Engagement, and the CARE team. In coordination with the Associate Dean of Students, the AVPDOS oversees the establishment and training of hearing panels, assures the adjudication of student code of conduct violations, and coordinates the Division of Student Affairs response to student emergencies. In addition, the AVPDOS advises the Vice President on matters pertaining to student engagement and success; develops, implements, and assesses programs, services, and initiatives that enhance the overall student experience on campus; and serves as an advisor to Associated Students Incorporated.
Associate Vice President for Philanthropic Giving (Administrator III) - University Advancement San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Under the general direction of the Vice President for University Advancement, the Associate Vice President for Philanthropic Giving is responsible for the planning and management of major, planned, and annual gift programs, corporate and foundation relations, and donor relations for California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) and CSUSB, Palm Desert. The Associate Vice President (AVP) will lead and direct a team of 10 professionals, including two staff members at the Palm Desert Campus.

Under the lead work direction of the WorkAbility IV (WAIV) Lead Program Coordinator, the Career Transition & Resource Coordinator (CTRC) assists students enrolled in the WAIV program by serving as a direct source of program information to include the dissemination of information on WAIV’s social media platforms related to employment preparation. This position facilitates employment preparation and student services including but not limited to: career exploration; career planning; mock interviews; resume/cover letter development; job search techniques; application preparation; professional presentation; and self-advocacy.

Manager, NAGPRA Program (Administrator I), University Advancement, Temporary San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
This position will coordinate the University’s compliance with federal and state Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act of 1990 (NAGPRA) legislation, including California Assembly Bills 275 and 389. Compliance with AB 275 and 389 will require a multi-phase process of inventory, consultation, correspondence, visitation, and eventually repatriation of curated collections to Native American tribes. In addition, compiling and managing records for the campus regulatory compliance supporting materials related to NAGPRA and CALNAPRA for the University.

Director, Tribal Relations (Administrator II) - University Advancement San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The Director, Tribal Relations will provide strategic development and operational objectives and is responsible for the overall administration of tribal relations programs to the President, Senior Leadership and campus communities by building and sustaining relationships with the native nations within CSUSB service area, state-wide and Native American serving organizations. This position serves as the primary point of contact with Native American tribes, federal and state agencies, and applicable consultants. This position is responsible for Tribal regulatory compliance, consultation and communication, outreach, and records management. The Director will collaborate and manage ongoing Native American Initiatives and events with Admissions, Student Affairs, Faculty and Elder in Residence. The Director will retain campus regulatory compliance authority over all tribal Native American collections under the administrative control of the University, including oversight of NAGPRA and CALNAPRA compliance requirements.

Laboratory Technician/BRC-BIO (UEC) San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The Laboratory Technician will focus on generating data to identify genetic and phenotypic responses over time and space, in altitudinal gradients. This project uses an introduced species to investigate the potential of range-shifts as a coping mechanism for plant populations responding to climate change. In the position of laboratory technician, responsibilities include sample collection, request collection permits for herbaria samples, grow and phenotyping plants in the greenhouse, DNA extractions. Additionally, this position involves lab management duties (re-stocking, keeping safety protocols updated, etc). The ideal candidate is someone with excellent organizing skills, previous field and wet lab experience.
