The Associate Dean is a member of the Management Personnel Plan (MPP) and is expected to work closely with the Dean, Department Chairs, College Offices and staff as well as with various entities on- and off- campus and with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing to recommend and develop education policy. The Associate Dean will ensure policy implementation, champion excellence in teaching and learning, and promote innovation to enhance student experiences. The Associate Dean serves as a member of the Watson College of Education Dean's leadership team, and reports to the Dean. The Associate Dean is expected to assist with strategic planning and to implement initiatives related to the Mission and Strategic Plan of the College and the University. The Associate Dean supports the Dean in maintaining smooth, efficient, and effective operations in the college.
Custodian (Custodian), Housing & Residential Life, Temporary San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Under general supervision, the Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, sanitary, and orderly living and working environment within the Housing Villages. Custodians perform a full range of custodial services, including cleaning and disinfecting residential and common areas, maintaining floors and furnishings, collecting waste and recyclables, and replenishing restroom supplies. The position provides routine custodial support for campus operations by responding to cleaning emergencies, setting up and breaking down for special events, making minor adjustments to equipment and furniture, reporting facility maintenance needs, and safeguarding assigned buildings. The incumbent operates custodial equipment and tools, maintains cleaning supplies and materials, and may transport equipment using university vehicles or electric carts to support the efficient operation of Housing facilities.

The Department Chair provides collaborative, equity-centered leadership within a shared governance environment and is responsible for advancing academic excellence, accreditation compliance, faculty development, student success, strategic planning, enrollment management, resource stewardship, and community engagement. The Chair reports to the Dean of the WCOE College and works closely with program coordinators, faculty, staff, district partners, university leadership, and University Advancement. This is a 12-month administrative appointment with assigned time consistent with CSU policy and requires five days a week campus presence. The successful candidate must be eligible for appointment with tenure at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor.
