The role focuses on data reporting, analysis, communications, and programs that support strategies to strengthen organizational culture and campus climate at CSUSB. The position develops and implements strategies, policies, and training programs that promote a positive campus climate while supporting the work of the senior diversity officers and the President’s DEI Board. As a strategic partner, the Associate Director collaborates with departments across the university, engages with senior leaders, and provides innovative solutions to complex issues related to culture and climate. The role requires a proactive professional with expertise in higher education culture and climate research and best practices.

The Watson College of Education (WCOE), California State University San Bernardino invites applications for the position of Department Chair for one of its largest and most comprehensive academic departments on campus. The department includes eight programs serving a highly diverse student body and partnering extensively with regional P–12 schools and community organizations. The Department Chair provides collaborative, equity-centered leadership within a shared governance environment and is responsible for advancing academic excellence, accreditation compliance, faculty development, student success, strategic planning, enrollment management, resource stewardship, and community engagement. The Chair reports to the Dean of the WCOE College and works closely with program coordinators, faculty, staff, district partners, university leadership, and University Advancement. This is a 12-month administrative appointment with assigned time consistent with CSU policy and requires five days a week campus presence. The successful candidate must be eligible for appointment with tenure at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor.

CSUSB Geology Teaching Associates (TAs) may be responsible for one or more GEOL 1000L Introductory Geology Laboratory sections, or may support a faculty member in an upper division geology class. TAs teaching GEOL 1000L are solely responsible for their assigned section(s), including being present in person for all class meetings during the semester, being available for meetings with the laboratory coordinator and other teaching assistants, maintaining the shared lab space including cleaning up after assigned lab sections, assessing student work, and meeting with students outside of class during regularly scheduled office hours. TAs supporting an upper division geology class will work with the faculty member teaching the class to determine the TA responsibilities.
School of Social Work Part-time Lecturer Pool San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The School of Social Work seeks applicants for its part-time lecturer pool to teach bachelor’s and master’s level classes in micro practice, macro practice, human behavior in the social environment, research methods, and practicum seminar at our San Bernardino and Palm Desert Campus locations. Minimum qualifications include a master’s degree in social work from a CSWE accredited program or a doctoral degree in social work, two years’ post master’s work experience, evidence of teaching effectiveness, and experience working with diverse populations and community partners. Preferred qualifications vary depending on the type of course assigned and may include: a PhD (research methods) or an LCSW (micro practice/practicum seminar, and 5 years’ experience in clinical social work (micro practice/practicum seminar). This is a pool of part-time lecturers for the department to draw on as necessary and all appointments are temporary. Staffing decisions are made on a rolling basis typically beginning a few months prior to the start of an academic term right up to the beginning of the academic term. We recommend submitting your application at least 4 months before the beginning of an academic term to be considered for available positions.

The Property Management department requires a Property Clerk II to ensure accurate tracking, control, and compliance with state regulations and audit requirements for university assets. A typical candidate will possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university--with study in the areas of criminal justice administration, business administration, psychology, or a related field preferred--or an equivalent combination of education and management-level experience in an agency of similar size and complexity. A master's degree is desirable along with prior University law enforcement experience and knowledge of University regulations.
