Candidates must minimally possess extensive supervision level experience in leading and managing a law enforcement workforce; Cal State is seeking an individual who is well-rounded, with experience in administration, investigations, and patrol. All candidates must possess current management and advanced California POST certifications or eligibility to attain them within 12 months of hire. Candidates from other states should consider the extensive California POST requirements for certification of experienced peace officers. A typical candidate will possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university--with study in the areas of criminal justice administration, business administration, psychology, or a related field preferred--or an equivalent combination of education and management-level experience in an agency of similar size and complexity. A master's degree is desirable along with prior University law enforcement experience and knowledge of University regulations.
Associate Director, Culture and Climate (Administrator II), Division of Human Resources	San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources and Senior Diversity Officer, the Associate Director, Culture and Climate leads initiatives that foster an inclusive and respectful work environment. The role focuses on data reporting, analysis, communications, and programs that support strategies to strengthen organizational culture and campus climate at CSUSB. The position develops and implements strategies, policies, and training programs that promote a positive campus climate while supporting the work of the senior diversity officers and the President’s DEI Board. As a strategic partner, the Associate Director collaborates with departments across the university, engages with senior leaders, and provides innovative solutions to complex issues related to culture and climate. The role requires a proactive professional with expertise in higher education culture and climate research and best practices.
Associate Dean, Social and Behavioral Sciences (Administrator III), College of Social and Behavioral Sciences - Academic Affairs	San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The Associate Dean partners closely with the Dean of the College of Social & Behavioral Sciences to support effective and efficient college operations. This role provides leadership and oversight for faculty affairs, facilities planning and management, and college and university relations, while also serving as the manager of the Dean’s Office. The Associate Dean supervises college IT and support staff and is responsible for completing annual performance evaluations for both permanent and temporary employees.

The Prevention, Education and Compliance Manager (PECM) leads campus-wide prevention and education initiatives addressing discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and sex-based misconduct. The Director has direct oversight of business analysts and software developers in the implementation of institutional wide platforms and integration of all third-party applications with PeopleSoft Student Information System. This position will also contribute to the oversight of campuswide and CSU-wide data architecture maintenance and systems integration, and aid in developing plans for future upgrades, enhancements, expansions, and sustainable operations in alignment with the institution’s growing data needs.

Reporting directly to the Vice President for Strategic Enrollment Management and Marketing (VP SEMM), the University Registrar and Director, Office of the Registrar, is responsible for the appropriate management of student records, including, but not limited to, course registration procedures, policies related to transfer coursework articulation, graduation processing, and the distribution of transcripts and diplomas. The position oversees and manages the work of the records, registration, articulation, and graduation teams within the Office of the Registrar and supports the institution on committees related to their work and responsibilities.
