We are looking for an experienced band director who also has a music education degree and interest in our BM Pre-Certification program. This is a 10-month position (fall/spring semesters) with potential opportunity for teaching during the summer.

The Department of Health Science & Human Ecology at California State University, San Bernardino invites applications from a diverse group of qualified applicants for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin August 2024. Teaching responsibilities would include undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the Nutritional Science and Dietetics Program and/or related undergraduate and graduate courses in the department. The faculty are expected to provide academic and professional/career advising, supervise research projects, theses, and senior projects for undergraduate and graduate students. Faculty may also serve as a coordinator of one of our undergraduate or graduate programs in the department and participate in maintaining programs accreditation. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate excellence in teaching, develop an externally funded research program, involve student participation in their research, and participate in service activities both within and beyond the campus community as well as involvement in professional organizations. The candidate should have an established research interest in nutrition science, dietetics or related fields and develop a plan for continuation of research.
Department of Psychology, Assistant Professor of Psychology San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The Department of Psychology at California State University, San Bernardino invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in Clinical/Counseling psychology. Area of concentration is open, although expertise in substance abuse, PTSD/trauma, depression, anxiety disorders, aging, interpersonal relationships/social connection, discrimination/mental-health disparities, evidence-based treatments for mental-health disorders, AI/machine-learning applications to mental health research, clinical health psychology and/or mental health outcomes in neurologic/medical populations would complement our department's research focus. A successful candidate will be able to teach undergraduate and master’s level graduate courses in clinical/counseling psychology (e.g. courses on psychotherapy, mental health disorders, clinical assessment & diagnosis), along with additional courses of the candidate’s choosing. Successful candidates will have demonstrated potential for success in securing extramural funding and the ability to supervise, mentor, and involve undergraduate and graduate students in their program of research. Candidates who are licensed or license eligible in the state of California (completion of 1500 hours of supervised post-doctoral experience) are strongly encouraged to apply. A Ph.D. is expected at the time of appointment, but ABD candidates will be considered. The start date for the position is August 19, 2024.
Director of Education Abroad (Administrator II), CEGE International Education San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The incumbent oversees the daily operations of the Education Abroad department; develops administrative policies and procedures; collaborates with academic and administrative units across the university; develops and delivers education abroad programs; and, increases student participation in overseas opportunities. The incumbent also serves as campus resource to provide consultation and training for campus partners to enhance education abroad capacity and comfort. Department of Kinesiology - Lecturer AY San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The Kinesiology Department at California State University, San Bernardino is seeking part-time lecturer applications from a diverse group of qualified individuals for both our San Bernardino Campus (SBC) as well as our Palm Desert Campus (PDC). The department is seeking experienced, well-organized, and student-centered individuals to teach in any of our three concentrations: Allied Health Professions, Exercise Science, and Physical Education and Adapted Physical Education. Subject areas may include the following: Biomechanics, motor development, motor learning, physical education, adapted physical education, sport and exercise physiology, sport and exercise psychology, sociology of sport, statistics in kinesiology, and other kinesiology related classes such as, but not limited to, activities classes. Candidates must have at least a Master’s degree, or specialized certification for activity classes, in a field of Kinesiology or related discipline. Preference will be given to candidates who have prior teaching experience at the college or university level and who can furnish evidence of strong teaching. Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students. Preference will be given to those with experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment. Preference will also be given to those with relevant work experience and those who bring professional capabilities. This is a pool of part-time lecturers for the department to draw on as necessary and all appointments are temporary. Staffing decisions are made on a rolling basis typically beginning a few months prior to the start of an academic term right up to the beginning of the academic term. We recommend submitting your application at least 4 months before the beginning of an academic term to be considered for available positions.

Candidates should have general expertise in Public Health and specific expertise in Health Services Administration and/or Health Care Management to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Health Services Administration as well as Public Health. The Health Services Administration Program is designed to prepare our diverse student body for management roles in health care settings to enhance the quality and innovation in the delivery of health care services for all individuals. The Department serves approximately 800 students majoring in 4 undergraduate programs (environmental health science, health services administration, nutritional science and dietetics, and public health) and 3 graduate programs (Master of Public Health, Master of Science in Health Service Administration, and Master of Science in Nutritional Science). The newly hired faculty member would join a well-established department of 14 tenure-track and over 20 adjunct faculty members.
Lecturer-PT Pool Position Liberal Studies San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The Liberal Studies Program at California State University San Bernardino is accepting applications on an on-going basis for our pool of part-time lecturers for upper and lower division Liberal Studies courses that address introduction, resources, portfolio development, and assessment of students preparing to pursue the multiple subjects teaching credential. The Liberal Studies program is housed under the College of Arts and Letters and offers a rich Liberal Arts & Liberal Studies educational experience through selected courses from a wide range of academic disciplines.
