The Associate Dean is expected to assist with strategic planning and to implement initiatives related to the Mission and Strategic Plan of the College and the University. The Associate Dean supports the Dean in maintaining smooth, efficient, and effective operations in the college.
Department of Geological Sciences Part-time Lecturer Pool San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus

The department includes eight programs serving a highly diverse student body and partnering extensively with regional P–12 schools and community organizations. The Department Chair provides collaborative, equity-centered leadership within a shared governance environment and is responsible for advancing academic excellence, accreditation compliance, faculty development, student success, strategic planning, enrollment management, resource stewardship, and community engagement. The Chair reports to the Dean of the WCOE College and works closely with program coordinators, faculty, staff, district partners, university leadership, and University Advancement. This is a 12-month administrative appointment with assigned time consistent with CSU policy and requires five days a week campus presence. The successful candidate must be eligible for appointment with tenure at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor.

The Department of Biology at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) is seeking part-time Instructional Student Assistant (ISA) applications from qualified individuals for our San Bernardino Campus (SBC) and/or our Palm Desert Campus (PDC). Candidates for this position should be students in good standing at CSUSB and should possess good organizational and communication skills. The ISA positions may involve various duties including assisting Biology staff, faculty, and students; assisting Instructional Support Technicians in preparation for laboratory or other course needs as appropriate; and assisting faculty and course instructors in tasks such as grading, tutoring, and assessment. Candidates should have a commitment to teamwork and should work closely with the staff/faculty/instructors to which they are assigned. This is a pool of students for the department to consider for ISAs, and all appointments are temporary. Decisions on assignment of ISAs are made on a rolling basis, normally between several months before and up to the beginning of the academic term.

Prior teaching experience is recommended but not required. This position will involve teaching laboratory or discussion sections, mainly in our foundational level courses including Introduction to Biology Lab, Principles of Biology I and II, Microbiology for Allied Health Majors, and Human Anatomy and Physiology for Allied Health Majors I and II. Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students. Candidates must also have a commitment to teamwork and work with the course coordinator and other instructors where appropriate to allow for effective and equitable instruction across different course sections. This is a pool of graduate students for the department to consider for teaching assistantships, and all appointments are temporary. Decisions on teaching assistantships are made on a rolling basis, normally between several months before and up to the beginning of the academic term. It is recommended that candidates submit their applications at least four (4) months before the beginning of an academic term to receive full consideration for available positions.

The Department of History at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) invites applications for the Adina Lee Savin and W Benson Harer Visiting Scholar in Egyptology. A successful candidate will be a member of the CSUSB community for one semester, either Fall 2027 (mid Aug- mid Dec) or Spring 2028 (mid Jan – late May). This position is designed for scholars taking a semester sabbatical from a home institution or as a postdoc for an up-and-coming scholar. The applicant should specialize in Ancient Egyptian History, Archaeology, Religion, Society, or Art anytime between the Predynastic to the Roman Periods. The successful candidate will receive housing, a partial meal plan, $2,500 towards relocation expenses, and a $27,000 stipend. CSUSB hosts the Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art (RAFFMA), which includes an important collection of approximately 500 artifacts dating from the Predynastic Period to the Coptic Period.
