As a division of Academic Affairs, Academic Success & Undergraduate Advising (ASUA) provides advising and academic support to all CSUSB students. ASUA helps students establish and maintain a sense of belonging with the university through academic support services and programs. Director, Philanthropy (Administrator II), Office of Philanthropic Giving - 2 Positions	San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The Director of Philanthropy is a strategic fundraising leader focused on securing major gifts to support university-wide priorities, particularly those that promote student success, access, equity, and academic excellence. Partnering with senior leadership and University Advancement, this role manages a portfolio of major donors, cultivating and soliciting transformative gifts. Performance is measured by financial goals, donor engagement, and overall fundraising impact. Reporting to the Associate VP of Philanthropic Giving, the Director collaborates across campus to drive initiatives aligned with the university’s mission and vision.
Per Diem Nurse Practitioner (Per Diem, Non-Exempt), Student Health Center - Temporary - Palm Desert Campus	San Bernardino - Palm Desert Campus
Under the general supervision of a Physician and direction of the Executive Director, the Nurse Practitioner provides a wide range of primary health care services within the Student Health Center (SHC) including assessment, diagnostic, and preventive and health maintenance services at the Palm Desert Campus. The incumbent works under the supervision of a physician using established standardized procedures and/or process protocols. The Nurse Practitioner collaborates with the SHC Executive Director and their supervising Physician(s) to develop standardized procedures and/or process protocols and scope of practice for their position. The incumbent provides a wide range of primary health care services, such as conducting physical examinations; diagnosing, treating, and managing illnesses and injuries; ordering tests and interpreting the results; and counseling patients on preventive care. This position is primarily located at the Palm Desert campus and may work occasionally on the San Bernardino campus.

The M.A. in English & Writing Studies Teaching Associate Program offers graduate students the opportunity to teach English 1070A (First-Year Composition) or English 1210 (Diversity Literature and Social Justice) during the fall semester. Students in any concentration in the program who meet the minimum qualifications below may apply. The number of Teaching Associateships available is limited, and they are awarded by competitive application.

We are seeking dedicated Writing Mentors to support undergraduate students enrolled in a Writing Intensive (WI) designated course. Mentors will play an integral role in the course, providing academic support during class time and offering supplemental instruction outside of class. Mentors will work closely with the course instructor throughout the semester to enhance the classroom experience and provide targeted writing support.
Department of Geological Sciences Part-time Lecturer Pool	San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Part-time lecturers are solely responsible for teaching their assigned course(s), including teaching all class sessions according to the semester schedule and teaching in the modality assigned to the course. Part-time faculty are expected to be available to students outside of scheduled class sessions for discussion of matters related to instruction, and expected to make course materials available on Canvas. Part-time faculty are responsible for assessing student work and assigning course grades.

TAs teaching GEOL 1000L are solely responsible for their assigned section(s), including being present in person for all class meetings during the semester, being available for meetings with the laboratory coordinator and other teaching assistants, maintaining the shared lab space including cleaning up after assigned lab sections, assessing student work, and meeting with students outside of class during regularly scheduled office hours. TAs supporting an upper division geology class will work with the faculty member teaching the class to determine the TA responsibilities.

The department is seeking experienced, well-organized, and student-centered individuals to teach in any of our physics, astronomy and materials science programs. Candidates must have at least a Master’s degree or specialized certification physics, astronomy or material science, or related discipline. Preference will be given to candidates who have prior teaching experience at the college or university level and who can furnish evidence of strong teaching. Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students. Preference will be given to those with experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment. Preference will also be given to those with relevant work experience and those who bring professional capabilities.
