| The CSUSB Basic Needs & Student Support Center is intended to be a one-stop, location for students to access basic needs services, completion basic needs intake, and resources linking students to on and off-campus housing, food, financial, and other basic needs. The center serves as a one-stop wellness hub where students can
meet with a Wellness Coach to receive personalized support for their basic needs.
Programming in the BNs & Student Support center will address basic needs intake sessions, educational literacy, CalFresh application assistance, swipe out assistance, BNs grant request assistance, housing intake, trauma-informed and financial literacy and much more. Our students' well-being impacts their basic needs being addressed, sense of belonging, persistence, graduation rate, and overall experience. This is an
exciting time to be a part of the Basic Needs & Student Support Staff and an opportunity to join a collaborative team of committed and motivated to supporting
students' basic needs in the university's Basic Needs & Student Support Center. This position is temporary and will work in the department of Basic Needs & Student
Support to empower students in developing skills, behaviors, and mindsets to
maintain healthy well-being. This position will provide outreach, educational workshops, connect students directly to services, and coach students to achieve holistic wellness. |
