Tenure-track Assistant Professor in Developmental Psychology San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The Department of Psychology at California State University, San Bernardino invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in Developmental psychology. Area of concentration is open, but expertise in quantitative psychology, aging and/or social psychology is particularly valuable. The successful candidate will be able to teach undergraduate and master’s level graduate courses in developmental psychology, upper-division statistics, and/or research methods, along with additional courses of the candidate’s choosing. Successful candidates will have demonstrated potential for success in securing extramural funding and the ability to supervise, mentor, and involve undergraduate and graduate students in their program of research. A Ph.D. is expected at the time of appointment, but ABD candidates will be considered. The start date for the position is August 17, 2023.

Assistant Professor of Art History and Global Cultures San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
We seek an art historian whose approach is from a global perspective and whose research focuses on Latin American, Latinx and/or Chicanx art and culture from any historical period. The candidate will have been updated in the social, political and philosophical contexts of art history’s global art world and issues associated with globalization, including discourses in the postcolonial and the decolonial; gender, race, and identity; critical theory, and the structures of art history and exhibitions/ museums. The candidate will be teaching classes in art historical, museum studies, and related methodologies, research methods, as well as thematic classes. The degree program in art history is titled BA in Art History & Global Cultures, and so we seek an art historian who has a global outlook, and whose research engages with the global art world as well as issues associated with globalization.

The Manager, Classification & Compensation for Human Resources reports directly to the Executive Director, Human Resources. The Department of Accounting and Finance is seeking to fill a tenure-track position in Finance with an emphasis in Financial Planning. Our Finance concentration prepares students to have knowledge and skills to handle financial issues (e.g., budgeting, raising capital, investments, exchange rate risk, etc.). Financial Planning concentration prepares students to have the skills and abilities to solve financial planning problems (e.g., pension or retirement planning, risk management/insurance, tax and estate planning, etc.). The concentration builds on knowledge of Financial Planning and related finance disciplines, investments, communication skills, ethics, and problem solving. Its curriculum is being revised to align with the curricular requirements of Certified Financial Planner (CFP). CSUSB is a Hispanic serving institution. W. Benson Harer Egyptology Scholar in Residence, History Department Visiting Faculty San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The Department of History at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) invites applications for the W. Benson Harer Egyptology Scholar in Residence. This successful candidate will be a member of the CSUSB community for the one semester in either fall 2023 or spring 2024. The applicant should specialize in Ancient Egyptian History, Society, Archaeology, or Art anytime between the Predynastic to the Roman Periods. The successful candidate will receive housing, a partial meal plan, $2,500 towards relocation expenses, and a $26,000 stipend. CSUSB hosts the Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art (RAFFMA), which includes one of the largest collections of Ancient Egyptian artifacts in Southern California. The collection includes over 2000 artifacts dating from the Predynastic Period to the Coptic Period.

We also welcome scholars interested in how urban Indians and transnational Indigenous communities in California build reciprocal, decolonial and collaborative relationships with California Indian tribes. In particular, we are seeking candidates with scholarly expertise alongside a history of and/or strong potential to engage with local Southern California Tribes.
