| The Associate Dean is a member of the Management Personnel Plan (MPP) and is expected to work closely with the Dean, Department Chairs, College Offices and staff as well as with various entities on- and off- campus and with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing to recommend and develop education policy. The Associate Dean will ensure policy implementation, champion excellence in teaching and learning, and promote innovation to enhance student experiences. The Associate Dean serves as a member of the Watson College of Education Dean's leadership team, and reports to the Dean.
The Associate Dean is expected to assist with strategic planning and to implement initiatives related to the Mission and Strategic Plan of the College and the University. The Associate Dean supports the Dean in maintaining smooth, efficient, and effective operations in the college. |
