The Associate Dean is a member of the Management Personnel Plan (MPP) and is expected to work closely with the Dean, Department Chairs, College Offices and staff as well as with various entities on- and off- campus and with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing to recommend and develop education policy. The Associate Dean will ensure policy implementation, champion excellence in teaching and learning, and promote innovation to enhance student experiences. The Associate Dean serves as a member of the Watson College of Education Dean's leadership team, and reports to the Dean. The Associate Dean is expected to assist with strategic planning and to implement initiatives related to the Mission and Strategic Plan of the College and the University. The Associate Dean supports the Dean in maintaining smooth, efficient, and effective operations in the college.

Department of Teacher Education and Foundations - Department Chair (12-Month) San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The Watson College of Education (WCOE), California State University San Bernardino invites applications for the position of Department Chair for one of its largest and most comprehensive academic departments on campus. The department includes eight programs serving a highly diverse student body and partnering extensively with regional P–12 schools and community organizations. The Department Chair provides collaborative, equity-centered leadership within a shared governance environment and is responsible for advancing academic excellence, accreditation compliance, faculty development, student success, strategic planning, enrollment management, resource stewardship, and community engagement. The Chair reports to the Dean of the WCOE College and works closely with program coordinators, faculty, staff, district partners, university leadership, and University Advancement. This is a 12-month administrative appointment with assigned time consistent with CSU policy and requires five days a week campus presence. The successful candidate must be eligible for appointment with tenure at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor.

Department of Geological Sciences Part-time Lecturer Pool San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Part-time lecturers are solely responsible for teaching their assigned course(s), including teaching all class sessions according to the semester schedule and teaching in the modality assigned to the course. Survivor Specialist (Student Services Professional IV), Counseling & Psychological Services San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Reporting to the Director of Counseling and Psychological Services, the Survivor Advocate provides emergency and ongoing advocacy, crisis response, and support services to students and employees impacted by sexual assault, domestic violence, intimate partner violence, and stalking. The position assesses individual needs, identifies appropriate referrals and courses of action, and assists individuals in navigating university, medical, legal, and community resources while coordinating prevention programming, outreach initiatives, and campus partnerships that support student well-being, safety, and success.
The Adina Lee Savin and W Benson Harer Visiting Scholar in Egyptology, History Department Visiting Faculty San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The Department of History at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) invites applications for the Adina Lee Savin and W Benson Harer Visiting Scholar in Egyptology. A successful candidate will be a member of the CSUSB community for one semester, either Fall 2027 (mid Aug- mid Dec) or Spring 2028 (mid Jan – late May). This position is designed for scholars taking a semester sabbatical from a home institution or as a postdoc for an up-and-coming scholar. The applicant should specialize in Ancient Egyptian History, Archaeology, Religion, Society, or Art anytime between the Predynastic to the Roman Periods. The successful candidate will receive housing, a partial meal plan, $2,500 towards relocation expenses, and a $27,000 stipend. CSUSB hosts the Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art (RAFFMA), which includes an important collection of approximately 500 artifacts dating from the Predynastic Period to the Coptic Period. Police Lieutenant (Administrator II), University Police Department San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Under the direct supervision of the Chief of Police, the Lieutenant is responsible for providing leadership in management to personnel, direct and indirect supervision of all personnel assigned to Patrol Operations and UPD personnel. The Lieutenant is also expected to assist in managing the Communications Unit and is responsible for providing management and oversight of University camera system and IT-related issues and projects that address public safety concerns and enhance public safety delivery on campus.
