The Property Management department requires a Property Clerk II to ensure accurate tracking, control, and compliance with state regulations and audit requirements for university assets. This position is essential to maintaining the integrity of the campus-wide property database, supporting inventory reconciliation, coordinating equipment tagging and disposals, and processing asset transfers and documentation. Incumbents in this classification are assigned the larger and more complex property control units. Incumbents may also be required to register and keep records on all motor vehicles, boats, trailers, and other equipment requiring licenses.

Works independently under general supervision to perform advanced events and conference planning while managing and exercising authority over large and/or complex events and conferences. Demonstrates advanced discernment in determining appropriate plans and methods to achieve event and/or conference goals and while ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and organizational policies. In collaboration with management, assesses, formulates, and evaluates programs, policies, and procedures. Decision-making is based on event planning best practices; substantial event planning experience; advanced knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local regulations; event program or contract guidelines; and university policies and protocols. Work is performed with minimal oversight focused on ensuring alignment with overall objectives. Handles multiple work priorities and may provide lead work direction with accountability for results.

Working under a physician’s supervision and following established standardized procedures and/or process protocols, the Nurse Practitioner collaborates with the SHC Executive Director and supervising Physician(s) to develop and refine these procedures and define the position’s scope of practice. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations; diagnosing, treating, and managing illnesses and injuries; ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests; and counseling patients on preventive health. The Nurse Practitioner also leads infection prevention and control initiatives for the Palm Desert Campus SHC and participates in health promotion activities on campus. This role is primarily based at the Palm Desert campus, with occasional work at the San Bernardino campus.

Under the general supervision of a Physician and direction of the Executive Director, the Nurse Practitioner provides a wide range of primary health care services within the Student Health Center (SHC) including assessment, diagnostic, and preventive and health maintenance services at the Palm Desert Campus. The incumbent works under the supervision of a physician using established standardized procedures and/or process protocols. The Nurse Practitioner collaborates with the SHC Executive Director and their supervising Physician(s) to develop standardized procedures and/or process protocols and scope of practice for their position. The incumbent provides a wide range of primary health care services, such as conducting physical examinations; diagnosing, treating, and managing illnesses and injuries; ordering tests and interpreting the results; and counseling patients on preventive care. This position is primarily located at the Palm Desert campus and may work occasionally on the San Bernardino campus.
