The Associate Dean is a member of the Management Personnel Plan (MPP) and is expected to work closely with the Dean, Department Chairs, College Offices and staff as well as with various entities on- and off- campus and with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing to recommend and develop education policy. The Associate Dean will ensure policy implementation, champion excellence in teaching and learning, and promote innovation to enhance student experiences. The Associate Dean serves as a member of the Watson College of Education Dean's leadership team, and reports to the Dean. The Associate Dean is expected to assist with strategic planning and to implement initiatives related to the Mission and Strategic Plan of the College and the University. The Associate Dean supports the Dean in maintaining smooth, efficient, and effective operations in the college.
Custodian (Custodian) Facilities Management San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus

The Watson College of Education (WCOE), California State University San Bernardino invites applications for the position of Department Chair for one of its largest and most comprehensive academic departments on campus. The department includes eight programs serving a highly diverse student body and partnering extensively with regional P–12 schools and community organizations. The Department Chair provides collaborative, equity-centered leadership within a shared governance environment and is responsible for advancing academic excellence, accreditation compliance, faculty development, student success, strategic planning, enrollment management, resource stewardship, and community engagement. The Chair reports to the Dean of the WCOE College and works closely with program coordinators, faculty, staff, district partners, university leadership, and University Advancement. This is a 12-month administrative appointment with assigned time consistent with CSU policy and requires five days a week campus presence. The successful candidate must be eligible for appointment with tenure at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor.

Police Lieutenant (Administrator II), University Police Department San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Under the direct supervision of the Chief of Police, the Lieutenant is responsible for providing leadership in management to personnel, direct and indirect supervision of all personnel assigned to Patrol Operations and UPD personnel. The Lieutenant is also expected to assist in managing the Communications Unit and is responsible for providing management and oversight of University camera system and IT-related issues and projects that address public safety concerns and enhance public safety delivery on campus. The Lieutenant will ensure proper adherence of department’s policies by patrol personnel. The incumbent is responsible for the protection of life and property and the enforcement of all pertinent laws within the jurisdiction of the University Police Department, California State University, San Bernardino. The incumbent will also be responsible for special event planning, management and supervision of the K9 unit, motorcycle unit, liaison to allied law enforcement agencies, firearms training, police fleet management, management of university and police public safety cameras, body-worn camera and naloxone programs, and other duties as assigned.

Under direct supervision of a physician or similar practitioner or higher-level Registered Nurse and general direction of the Executive Director, the incumbent will act as a Registered Nurse I for the San Bernardino Student Health Center and may also work on the Palm Desert Campus as needed. The Per Diem Registered Nurse will also be responsible for active participation in health education activities, assign tasks to and review work of clinic support staff within their scope of work, and assists with development of policies, protocols and procedures. Additional duties can include participation in health center and campus wide committees when assigned.
