University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB ("UEC") supports the university's educational mission by providing quality services that complement the instructional program. The University depends upon UEC to provide services that cannot be supported with state funds. We’re responsible for business enterprises on campus including, but not limited to, dining, bookstore, convenience store, and vending services. We also serve as the grantee for federal, state, and local funding for research and sponsored projects.
Temporary, full time “non-exempt”, benefited position through 12/31/2024 (Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds, availability of work and satisfactory job performance).
Salary: $2,859.95 to $3,211.80 per month
Location: San Bernardino
The CalSWEC Title IV-E Program provides professional education and monetary support to undergraduate and graduate social work students who intend to pursue or continue a career in the field
of public child welfare. Components include: delivery of specialized curricular content in public child welfare; provision of monetary support to students in return for completion of an employment
obligation in a qualifying public child welfare agency; and tracking of students post-graduation for
completion of program requirements.
40 hours per week. Schedule to be arranged, but typically, Monday-Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm though some nights, weekend work may be required.

Under the immediate supervision of the Title IV-E Project Coordinator, the incumbent will be responsible for two main areas:
The first major area is clerical and administrative support functions for the Bachelor of Social Work (BASW) Title IV-E Program. These support duties include answering phone and walk-in
questions about the BASW program, help planning and staffing events such as SOAR,
information sessions and orientations, referring pre-majors to academic advisors, tracking pre-majors and compiling and managing files from students applying to the major. The incumbent will manage and maintain a BASW student database, permit students to register for upper division social work courses using PeopleSoft; consult with the Registrar’s Office for cross enrollment of student, explain and interpret School of Social Work policies, procedures and application requirements for BASW program admission, process and file BASW applications prepare appropriate admission folders, track new applicants progress toward admission and prepare appropriate admission letters.
The second major area is support to the Field Education Program which encompasses all IV-E students. These duties include managing the field interview process database, the Field Education data base on the IPT System, confirming accuracy of the information in the system,
assisting with requests for password resets and changes, maintaining data base or potential
placement agencies and agency affiliation agreements, and help with planning and staffing events such as Field Orientation or other special events and the documents associated with it.
Additionally, the incumbent may be asked to assist with general office work such as reserving rooms for information sessions and other meetings, copying, entering pre and post test data for
outcome measure purposes and other duties as assigned.
- Education: High School Diploma
Combined education and experience equivalent to one year of experience in general office clerical work, along with well-developed communication skills, editing skills, and computer
skills including Microsoft office suite and ability to quickly and accurately learn other electronic data
bases and programs.
Applicants must have good interpersonal and communication skills along with excellent
customer service skills. Knowledge of academic counseling for undergraduate students is helpful but not mandatory. Applicants must possess a thorough knowledge of correct English grammar, spelling,
punctuation, as well as knowledge of office methods, procedures, and practices. Applicants must have
the ability to follow directions, take initiative, be flexible, have the ability to multi-task and make decisions on a day-to-day basis, and be accountable for work performed. Applicants must have the
ability to handle sensitive interactions/situations and confidential information, along with the ability to work with diverse populations and traditionally underrepresented students and work well with a team of support staff and faculty.
