Clinical Service Supervisor/FAITHS (UEC) San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Under direction from the Executive Director of Operations and Clinical Manager, the Clinical Service Supervisor will organize and supervise the Clinical Service Practioners and MFT/LPCC/MSW Interns in their scope of practice. The supervised scope of practice includes, but is not limited to, clinical documentation, duties of diagnostic assessments, developing and implementing complex treatment plans, and specialized service programs to assist individuals in restoring their capacity for social functioning, and direct clinical work with individuals, couples, families/children, and groups. Additionally, incumbents may perform complex or specialized tasks as assigned.

The Department of Physics and Astronomy at California State University, San Bernardino invites applications from a diverse group of qualified applicants for a new department of physics and astronomy chair to begin August 2024. This is a full time tenure track position with a half-time chair appointment. The ideal candidate will be an experienced faculty member with demonstrated leadership and administrative skills, an established record of scholarly research, and evidence of commitment to student success. The Chair is expected to provide leadership in shaping and facilitating the future of the department including faculty and staff development, faculty mentoring, strategic planning, and student recruitment and success initiatives. The Department Chair will serve in a leadership capacity in support of the mission of the College of Natural Sciences. They will provide academic and administrative leadership and facilitate the orderly conduct of the affairs of the Department and the College. Preference will be given to candidates with familiarity in navigating large public education systems, such as the CSU. The Department offers B.A. and B.S. degrees in Physics, with minors in astronomy and applied physics, and is currently in the planning stages for an interdisciplinary M.S. degree in Materials Science, which is associated with the Center for Advanced Functional Materials(https://materials.csusb.edu). Preference will be given to candidates who are able to teach courses within the full range of undergraduate physics courses and graduate courses in support of the Master Program in material sciences. The successful candidate will join an intellectually stimulating and innovative academic environment that embraces diversity. We are particularly interested in receiving applications from all groups historically underrepresented in Physics/Astronomy and STEM fields, including intersections across multiple groups.
Clinical Services Practitioner/FAITHS (UEC) San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
FAITHS is actively searching for a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Service Practitioner (CSP) to join our dynamic team, primarily serving justice-involved individuals and their families. Key responsibilities in this pivotal role will include clinical counseling, facilitating psychoeducation, carrying out diagnoses and assessments, managing data, and meticulously documenting all related procedures. A CSP delivers comprehensive case management support, playing a crucial role in helping individuals navigate through complex psychosocial issues. This position’s expertise will be fundamental in creating personalized treatment plans and closely monitoring implementation and success. In addition to client-facing duties, the CSP will also act as the frontline lead for social and behavioral science interns hailing from multiple university partners. This mentoring role will involve guiding interns through their placements, sharing knowledge and experience, and fostering interns professional growth; as well as clear communication regarding day-to-day matters. The successful candidate will be an empathetic professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to be flexible and make informed, timely decisions in a dynamic environment. Experience and understanding of a trauma-informed and systemic approach to supporting justice-involved individuals and their families is preferred.
Physician - Primary Care - Student Health Center San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Under the general supervision of the Lead Physician and the direction of the Director of the Student Health Center, the Physician performs medical diagnostic and treatment and preventative health care and education to students in an ambulatory care setting. The Physician works collaboratively with all the Student Health Center staff and actively participates in health education activities, training of health-related staff, and development of policies, protocols and procedures. Additional duties include participation in Student Health Center and campus wide committees when assigned. Responsible for all actions taken as a licensed California physician as outlined by the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance.
Job Developer/CSRI Victorville (UEC) San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Under the general supervision of the Center Manager, the Job Developer will assist with job development programming, employment placement, and employment retention services for program participants. The incumbent will conduct active job searches and placement opportunities for parolees by contacting and visiting local employers and human resources departments to obtain individual interviews, as well as developing on-the-job training opportunities and vocational education. This position requires group and one-on-one training in job development.

The Kinesiology Department at California State University, San Bernardino is seeking part-time lecturer applications from a diverse group of qualified individuals for both our San Bernardino Campus (SBC) as well as our Palm Desert Campus (PDC). The department is seeking experienced, well-organized, and student-centered individuals to teach in any of our three concentrations: Allied Health Professions, Exercise Science, and Physical Education and Adapted Physical Education. Subject areas may include the following: Biomechanics, motor development, motor learning, physical education, adapted physical education, sport and exercise physiology, sport and exercise psychology, sociology of sport, statistics in kinesiology, and other kinesiology related classes such as, but not limited to, activities classes. Candidates must have at least a Master’s degree, or specialized certification for activity classes, in a field of Kinesiology or related discipline. Preference will be given to candidates who have prior teaching experience at the college or university level and who can furnish evidence of strong teaching. Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students. Preference will be given to those with experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment. Preference will also be given to those with relevant work experience and those who bring professional capabilities. This is a pool of part-time lecturers for the department to draw on as necessary and all appointments are temporary. The Liberal Studies Program at California State University San Bernardino is accepting applications on an on-going basis for our pool of part-time lecturers for upper and lower division Liberal Studies courses that address introduction, resources, portfolio development, and assessment of students preparing to pursue the multiple subjects teaching credential. The Liberal Studies program is housed under the College of Arts and Letters and offers a rich Liberal Arts & Liberal Studies educational experience through selected courses from a wide range of academic disciplines. The major consists of a common core and a choice of several tracks designed to meet diverse student interests and needs not only for teaching in schools, but also for leadership in government, non-profit organizations, and business, and for graduate education in law, counseling, social work and services, public affairs and administration, and educational leadership. The Liberal Studies option provides excellent preparation for Elementary teaching while the Liberal Arts option provides well-rounded preparation for post-baccalaureate degrees and for employment in business, non-profit, and government organizations.

The Department of Psychology seeks applicants for its part-time lecturer pool. We are seeking experienced, well-organized, and student-centered individuals to teach in the following subject areas: general psychology, biological psychology/neuroscience, clinical psychology, cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, social psychology, and statistics. Candidates must have at least a Master’s degree in a field relevant to the curriculum of the Department of Psychology. Preference will be given to candidates who have prior teaching experience at the college or university level and who can furnish evidence of strong teaching. A Ph.D. or extensive professional experience is desirable for teaching upper-division courses (300- or 400-level) and required for 500-level graduate courses. Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students. Preference will be given to those with experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment. Preference will also be given to those with relevant work experience and those who bring professional capabilities.
