Nurse Practitioner (Nurse Practitioner, Exempt), Student Health Center - Palm Desert Campus San Bernardino - Palm Desert Campus
Under the general supervision of a Physician and the direction of the Executive Director, the Nurse Practitioner delivers comprehensive primary health care services at the Student Health Center (SHC). These services include assessment, diagnosis, preventive care, and health maintenance. Working under a physician’s supervision and following established standardized procedures and/or process protocols, the Nurse Practitioner collaborates with the SHC Executive Director and supervising Physician(s) to develop and refine these procedures and define the position’s scope of practice. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations; diagnosing, treating, and managing illnesses and injuries; ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests; and counseling patients on preventive health. The Nurse Practitioner also leads infection prevention and control initiatives for the Palm Desert Campus SHC and participates in health promotion activities on campus. This role is primarily based at the Palm Desert campus, with occasional work at the San Bernardino campus.
ASUA-Graduate Assistant - (GA) Pool San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Graduate assistant writing consultants conduct one-to-one writing conferences with undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff from all disciplines providing tutoring that requires knowledge and background beyond that generally possessed by undergraduate consultants. In these conferences, they function as writing consultants who write with, never for, other writers. They serve as the primary writing center resources for graduate students including work with graduate student writers on culminating experiences such as theses, projects, and dissertations. They develop and conduct in-class writing, citation, and peer review workshops. They also develop and present Writing Center and writing process informational workshops for writing classes across disciplines, in addition to presenting workshops and presentations for other campus programs as requested.

CSUSB Geology Teaching Associates (TAs) may be responsible for one or more GEOL 1000L Introductory Geology Laboratory sections, or may support a faculty member in an upper division geology class. TAs teaching GEOL 1000L are solely responsible for their assigned section(s), including being present in person for all class meetings during the semester, being available for meetings with the laboratory coordinator and other teaching assistants, maintaining the shared lab space including cleaning up after assigned lab sections, assessing student work, and meeting with students outside of class during regularly scheduled office hours. TAs supporting an upper division geology class will work with the faculty member teaching the class to determine the TA responsibilities.
