The Department of Public Administration is seeking to hire part-time instructors to teach within our NASPAA-accredited MPA program and our newly created Bachelor of Arts in Public Service. All courses are taught online, using the Canvas and Zoom platforms. The MPA program offers seven core courses (History and Theory; Research Methods; Budgeting; Human Resources, Public Management; Policy Analysis; and Strategic Planning) and 5 concentration courses. The department offers concentrations in Leadership, Public Financial Management, Non-Profit Management, HUman Resource Management, and Community Planning and Management. 5 concentration courses. Math Instructor Lead/Coyote PRIME (UEC) San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The Coyote PRIME Math Instructor Lead provides engaging, adaptive, skill-building math instruction and consultation for Coyote PRIME to support high school students who are on track with A-G requirements but need additional support to meet gradelevel and college-readiness benchmarks. This role uses EdReady to identify learning gaps, personalize instruction materials, monitor student progress, and provide smallgroup or one-on-one support guidance along with the Coyote PRIME Math Tutor. Under the direction of the Chief Research Officer, the Project Technologist provides specialized, high-level technical leadership to the Office of Academic Research (OAR) by architecting and operationalizing information systems that modernize and automate sponsored research administration. The incumbent serves as OAR’s primary technologist for analytics and AI initiatives, translating complex, multi-step pre-award and post-award business rules (grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements) into secure, scalable, datadriven solutions that reduce administrative burden and improve compliance. Core responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining enterprisegrade Power BI research and funding dashboards for executive decision support; developing AI/agentic applications and chatbots that guide faculty and staff through funding discovery, policy interpretation, and reporting; and integrating data across campus and OAR platforms to create a single, governed source of truth for the Chief Research Officer. This work is missioncritical to OAR’s ability to grow research activity and is performed on campus in close collaboration with leadership and administrative units. The position requires advanced knowledge of information systems, business intelligence, and applied AI — and the ability to align technology with university research strategies.

The Inland Empire Small Business Development Center is a federal program partially funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration & the California Governor’s Office of Business & Economic Development. The SBDC is hosted by CSU, San Bernadino, University Enterprises Corporation. The purpose of this grant is to provide no-cost technical assistance to entrepreneurs and small business owners in the Riverside and San Bernardino County. Under the direction of the SBDC Director the call center representative will conduct inbound and outbound service calls, provide a high-level of customer service and document details of all calls and customer interactions in the SBDC CRM System.

Under immediate supervision, this position serves as a Graduate Student Assistant on the Technology Infrastructure for Data Exploration (TIDE) project (https://tide.sdsu.edu/), a multi-campus initiative funded by the National Science Foundation to create the first computational core facility focused on supporting faculty research within the California State University (CSU) system. Designed to advance machine learning and AI research, TIDE features a high-performance computing architecture built on GPUs, powerful processors, and ample storage. The Graduate Assistant will support facilitation and outreach efforts, which may include conducting HPC and AI research (e.g., reading papers, testing models, and building tools), maintaining websites and documentation, responding to support requests, and enabling use of TIDE by developing software containers, data workflow scripts, and CI/CD pipelines.
